I was very happy when Angela asked me to arrange a song for her upcoming christmas songs album. The song is “Vecerni Zvon”, a russian traditional anthem-like song. A famous version, sang by Nicolai Gedda, was the start of the writing process. The orchestra and choir was recorded by the Radio National Romanian Orchestra directed by Tiberiu Soare. Nu Mai e Timp (There is no Time) 2012, Media Pro Music Holograph featuring Angela Gheorghiu 1’500’000 views on YouTube For this project, I had to write strings and brass arrangements on top of a classic Rock-pop mix.
